Panasonic unveiled new products focusing on sustainability and evolving consumer needs at their CES 2024 press conference. The Panasonic Green Impact Initiative aims for significant eco-friendly changes, targeting substantial carbon reductions by 2035 and net zero emissions by 2050. Their approach embraces a circular economy, ensuring sustainability from a product’s creation to its recycling.

Hirotoshi Uehara, a Panasonic executive, emphasized their commitment to improving lives while reducing the carbon footprint and conserving resources. Megan Pollock, VP of branding and strategic marketing communications, highlighted their work on Kinari, a biodegradable and recyclable alternative to plastic made from 85% cell materials.

Panasonic is integrating technologies like AI across its product range. In collaboration with Fresco, they are introducing an AI-powered cooking assistant, featured in products like the Panasonic HomeCHEF 4-in-1 multi-oven.

Additionally, Panasonic is launching the STEM Forward program in partnership with Discovery Education, taking students and educators to Japan to explore global innovations in STEM fields. Olympic Champion Katie Ledecky is involved in this initiative, promoting innovative thinking among participants.

In personal care, Panasonic introduced the Palm Shaver and new Multishape attachments, which include an eyebrow trimmer adaptable to a five-bladed compact shaver. These innovations aim to be the ultimate grooming tools.

For home entertainment, Panasonic is releasing new OLED TVs, the Z95A (65 inches) and Z93A (77 inches), featuring Amazon Fire TV. These TVs offer a personalized home screen that integrates streaming services, apps, live channels, and tailored recommendations.

Panasonic Automotive unveiled Neuron, a high-performance compute platform designed to advance software-defined mobility. Panasonic also announced that the 2025 Infiniti will feature a premium Klipsch Reference Premiere Audio System powered by Panasonic.

In the camera arena, Panasonic introduced the Lumix S 100mm F2.8 MACRO (S-E100) lens, part of the L-Mount system. This compact, lightweight lens is tailored for both amateur and professional photographers.

Lastly, Panasonic revealed the new Shelf Speaker System (SC-PM270), offering premium sound quality in a sleek, compact design. The system includes 10cm full-range drivers with bass reflex ports, delivering 20 watts of clear stereo sound.
